Simple steps to safety
Thorough inspection – our ordering and modernization activity is based on the analysis and understanding of the existing situation. We enter each device and connection inside the server room as well as all the external connections into a register. The next step is to analyse all LAN structured cabling or telephone exchange documentation.
Project – the report and the findings lay grounds to create a project of a new server room, including:
- the arrangement of devices and accessories in the server room,
- the proposal to add solutions facilitating infrastructure management to the existing equipment.
- the manner of establishing connections between devices and equipment
- the plan of as-built documentation, which will also be the operating documentation in the new server room,
- a schedule of work on the implementation of the project.
Implementation – one of the key elements of the whole project is a well-arranged schedule. While in the course of the revitalization process, the company must operate on a regular basis. The work will have to be spread over several stages, some of which will be carried out at night or on holidays.
Documentation – the last stage of the service will include the preparation of as-built documentation, such as a series of drawings, diagrams, summaries and descriptions to assist the administrator in infrastructure management.
